About us
Restaurant “Laf” is the result of our pure love for food and the culinary arts. Locals often say that “grandma’s kitchen” is the best, so we decided to limit our offer to home-made dishes that most of our guests remember from their childhood. Therefore, our menu includes sarma (cabbage rolls), stuffed peppers, pašticada (Dalmatian beef stew), lasagna, bean stew, mashed potatoes, and much more.
“Laf” is much more than just the name of our restaurant – it is the symbol of our whole life and our relationship with a person who always supported us in our projects, a man who above all enjoyed good food and good company, which is exactly what we offer at our restaurant. Once his unforgettable life came to an end, we decided to dedicate one of our projects to him and to our relationship that had always been based on unconditional love, support, and understanding. As our feelings are difficult to put into words, we decided to sum them all up in one word, “Laf”.

Our gourmet offer provides you with the opportunity to experience the unforgettable flavors of Dalmatian and Mediterranean cuisine prepared from local ingredients, such as cuttlefish with broad beans, octopus with chickpeas, cod, brudet (fish stew), and fish or meat pašticada (stew).
For meat and continental cuisine enthusiasts, we offer some delicious meatballs, roast veal and lamb, pork in BBQ sauce, and famous Macedonian delicacies such as Tavče gravče (baked beans), selsko meso (meat and mushrooms stew), ajvar (a bell pepper and eggplant condiment), pindžur (vegetables) spread, roasted peppers, etc.
